Regional legislation application laboratories

The PULSE Project has been holding one-day training events for local government officials in AUC Regional Offices. The purpose of these events is to study and receive clarifications on new provisions in laws and current legislation, as well as to provide opportunities for experience exchange. The topics of such training laboratories have been identified based on the monitoring of consultancy needs conducted by AUC Regional Offices. During the first year of the implementation of the PULSE Project, each AUC Regional Office will conduct five such straining events. The regional legislation application laboratories started in February.

JULY 20,    the Project conducted a regional legislation application laboratory in the Khmelnytskyi AUC Regional Office to discuss key issues of the application of the legislation governing the provision of administrative services.

Village, town and city mayors, their deputies, representatives of consolidated territorial communities, and directors of Centers for Administrative Services participated in the event.

JULY 20,     the Project conducted a regional legislation application laboratory in the Lviv AUC Regional Office to discuss key issues of the application of the by-laws and regulations governing apartment block management. City ad town mayors from the oblast and their line deputies for housing and municipal utilities represented the participants of the event.

JULY 21,    the Project conducted a regional legislation application laboratory in the Sumy AUC Regional Office to discuss the legal and economic framework for electronic procurement to meet the needs of territorial communities. Deputy city mayors, directors of city and town departments for economy represented the participants of the event.

JULY 21,    the Project conducted a regional legislation application laboratory in the Odesa AUC Regional Office to discuss key issues of the application of the legislation governing the land resource management in territorial communities by local governments. City mayors, directors of city and town departments for land resources, and directors of legal departments represented the participants of the event.
